Kevin Killgrave, better known as the Purple Man, is a fictional supervillain appearing in Marvel Comics, primarily associated with Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Born in Rijeka, Croatia, Killgrave was a physician who gained his powers during an accident while working as a spy. He was exposed to experimental nerve gas, resulting in his skin turning purple and granting him the power of mind control through pheromones.

Purple Man's powers allow him to command anyone to do his bidding, rendering them unable to resist his will. He often uses this power for personal gain, manipulating others for money, power, and even sexual gratification. His victims are left with no memory of their actions while under his influence, often causing immense trauma and lasting psychological damage.

Killgrave is a ruthless and sadistic character, enjoying the suffering of others. He lacks empathy and has a deeply ingrained sense of entitlement.
